  2. Sham/Shyam Satpute [Independent] – 932 votes
  3. Vaijayanti Patwardhan [Congress] – 652 votes
  4. Audumbar Khune [NCP] – 420 votes

Deccan Gymkhana Ward No 67

  1. Rajendra Balkawade [Shiv Sena] – 1684 votes
  2. Ram Borkar [MNS] – 1539
  3. Raju Sathe [Congress] – 1198 votes
  4. Urmila Apte [Independent] – 838 votes

As these two wards most affect my quality of life in Pune, I hope and look forward to Shri. Mathkari and Shri. Balkawade undertaking proper and planned development of these wards.

    hi harshad,
    it is a great effort u hv put in ,,, well done.
    Unfortunately, it took me good 6 months to hit ur work.
    Our voters don’t feel elections, elected members or govt. can bring change in their life.
    This is 100 % true in case of DG n Law college rd area voters. (see the voting percentage.) all want to sit on fat ass n discuss politics over a cup of coffee or in ketty party or over a smoke….. as Karl Marks truly said …. Democracy is a game of big bellies ….

    I stay in Mayur colony and we make sure that we chase ward officer and elected members for every small thing. surely we don’t bother Corporators much unless ward officer don’t respond or its a kind of policy matter. We must form positive pressure group to get best out of the system.

    I am ex merchant navy officer with 20 years of service.
    At the age of 40 I gave up my job n started a NGO woking in Disaster Management.
    We are working on many issues mainly in capacity building and training. Our main focus is on school children and women self help groups.
    I am national level faculty member of central govt. agencies related to Disaster management alongwith Yashada, UNDP, UNICEF.
